How it works

Drug and Alcohol Connection

For those starting there sober journey, Gadibundhu can provide referrals to community services such as local mental health facilities, doctors, NDIS (Link to LAC program), and drug and alcohol services such as AA's NA's and the mental health unit. This will assist those wishing to explore treatment opportunity to obtain immediate services.




Employment

Whilst completing Gadibundhu's Drug and Alcohol Live-in program you will be exposed to employment and volunteering opportunities to build your skills and help with your employ-ability.

Gadibundhu will link you with services to assist you to find and remained employed. Gadibundhu will connect you to Government and Community services that will assist you with obtaining employment.


Through our community partners you will also have the opportunity to obtain certificates such as hospitality (Barista, etc).



Housing

For those completed Gadibundhu's Drug and Alcohol Live-in Program,

Gadibundhu can provide assistance with housing by utilising it's strong community partnerships to assist you to obtain permanent residential rental status.

Gadibundhu will help with the following:

Provide a detailed letter of recommendation and program ledger to support your rental application.

Assist you to obtain bond.

Organise and refer to financial counselling to minimise debt and assist you with budgeting.

Assist you to obtain furniture and other living items.

Connect you to local organisations such as AA's NA's and Salvation Army and provide ongoing follow-up to assist you to remain sober.
